Design and Experimental Verification of Targeted and Variable Sprayer for the Potato

For potatoes, a crop with specific plant spacing and large row spacing, continuous spray has problems including low spraying accuracy washability. In order to improve the utilisation of this crop, manuscript designed targeted variable sprayer. To ensure that function is achieved, design verification vehicle body targeting device sprayer were carried out. guarantee automation precision are improved, autonomous marching system based on Ultra-wideband (UWB) module Open machine vision (Open MV) module, built. The experiments showed could follow preset route, correct its direction in time, provide feedback position. was influential surface back leaf (about 66%) more uniform than general mode. Moreover, sprayer’s mode reduced amount liquid applied by 37.9% compared mode, significantly improving rate.
